Lagun launches a new generation of solutions for compact living
The Swedish company behind the iconic Lagun table leg is taking the next step. With the launch of the Pro leg, Tap mount, new tabletops and Hidden compartment, Lagun is expanding the system with more possibilities for flexible living – and this is just the beginning.

For decades, Lagun has helped people make the most of limited space, from campervans and motorhomes to boats and other compact environments. Now, the Swedish brand is building on that experience with a new generation of products designed around the same idea: creating more functionality from the space you already have.
The new additions mark the beginning of a broader development of the Lagun range. Rather than focusing on a single table solution, Lagun is creating a more flexible and modular system where products can work together, adapt to different needs and evolve over time.
“Lagun is known around the world for its table leg system, and we’re incredibly proud of that heritage. We see a big opportunity in helping people make the most of limited space. This launch marks the beginning of a new chapter for Lagun, with more products, new categories and new possibilities still to come.”
Mattias Svensson, CEO BSG
One system. Endless possibilities.
At the centre of the launch is the new Pro leg, an evolution of the classic Lagun table leg. It retains the strength and stability of the original while introducing an integrated ridge profile along the full length of the leg. This opens up entirely new mounting possibilities and creates a foundation for both the new Tap mount and upcoming Lagun accessories.
The Tap mount makes it possible to attach any Lagun arm directly to the ridge profile on the Pro leg or Wall mount. On the Pro leg, this means two independently swivelling tabletops can be supported from a single leg. On the Wall mount, it creates a flexible work surface without the need for a table leg at all. The mount can also be repositioned without tools, allowing the setup to quickly adapt between cooking, dining, working and relaxing.
Together, the Pro leg and Tap mount represent an important step towards a more modular Lagun system: fewer fixed solutions and more freedom to configure the available space around the way it is actually being used.

New tabletops designed for compact living
The launch also introduces a new range of Lagun tabletops, giving customers more choice in size, material and style.
The new Nomad format measures 550 × 330 mm and has been developed specifically for compact living. The dimensions are designed to provide enough everyday space for two people while remaining easy to use, move and store. Nomad is available in solid bamboo, Swedish birch and HPL.
For larger spaces, the Crew tabletop measures 825 × 495 mm and provides room for up to four people. Made from durable HPL, it is designed for dining, working and everyday activities and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Importantly, the new tabletops have also been designed with what comes next in mind. An integrated aluminum Interface ring provides a built-in mounting point for future Lagun accessories, making the tabletop another part of the expanding modular system.

Hidden in plain sight
Even the smallest details have been reconsidered. The new Hidden compartment transforms the end cap on the Lagun tabletop mounting plate – previously a purely cosmetic component – into discreet storage for small everyday items such as keys and coins. It fits all Lagun tabletop mounting plates, including those on existing Lagun tables, making it an easy upgrade for current owners as well as a smart addition to new setups. The compartment maintains the clean, integrated appearance of the original end cap.
It is a small product, but one that reflects the thinking behind the wider range: no space is too small to make the most of.

A new chapter for Lagun
Lagun may be best known for its table leg system, but the brand is beginning to move beyond what people traditionally associate with the Lagun name.
The new products have been developed not simply as individual additions, but as parts of a growing ecosystem. The ridge profile on the Pro leg and the Interface ring integrated into the new tabletops have both been created to support future Lagun accessories.
This autumn marks the start of that next chapter. More products and new product categories are already on the way, continuing Lagun’s journey towards a broader range of smart solutions for making living spaces more flexible, functional and enjoyable.
