Aluminum is the core of all Lagun tables. It is extremely strong relative to its weight, making it perfect for mobile applications where weight and space are crucial. Aluminum has a much lower density than steel, so you get a sturdy product without unnecessary weight.

Durability through anodizing

Aluminum can scratch and deform, but it forms a natural oxide layer that protects the metal when exposed to air. We take this a step further by anodizing all aluminum in our products. Anodizing creates a thick and hard oxide layer that provides additional resistance to scratches, corrosion, and wear.

Sustainable production and recycling

Aluminum is one of the most abundant elements on Earth. Although producing new aluminum requires a lot of energy, 95-98% of all aluminum can be recycled. Recycled aluminum requires only 5% of the energy compared to primary production, making it a significantly more environmentally friendly option.
